Motorola Introduces Moto X30 Pro With 200MP Camera
The Motorola Moto X30 Pro is the first smartphone to use a Samsung HP1 sensor. This sensor has a 200MP resolution, but in low light, it combines sixteen pixels from the sensor into one pixel in the photo. This leaves pixels of 2.56 micrometers, resulting in a photo with a 12.5MP resolution. In a lot of light, the sensor combines four pixels into one, resulting in a 50MP resolution. In a lot of light, no pixels are combined and you can actually take 200MP photos.
In addition to the main lens, we find a 50MP wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The selfie camera has a 60MP resolution.
The other specifications are also high-end. For example, the Moto X30 Pro has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 8GB or 12GB RAM, 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB storage space, and a 4610mAh battery with support for 125W fast charging.
The Moto X30 Pro gets a suggested retail price of 3700 yuan, converted to about $540. Rumor has it that the smartphone will later also come to Europe under the name Edge 30 Ultra.
