TOP 6 CALL OF DUTY MODERN WARFARE CONTROLLER TIPS
Many of you gamers like me are also eagerly anticipating the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. I've been playing COD for a while and have picked up some controller tips to make your gaming experience more enjoyable.
Controllers are a pretty complex piece of equipment that can adjust to your preferences to improve your performance.
Here are some tips on how you can get the most out of it!
Change the sensitivity to suit your playstyle - find what feels comfortable with how fast or slow you move around in-game.
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, sensitivity is specified by your mouse's different types of DPI (dots per inch) sensitivity. I use 400 DPI which is pretty low.
Head over to the control panel, mouse settings and find pointer options in windows. Then click on 'enhance pointer precision,' which should be in the list somewhere. From there, adjust your DPI sensitivity from 400 or 800 or even higher if you have a high-end gaming mouse that supports this option!
So check your 'mouse' settings in windows - make sure you have selected the right item for your mouse. Using a high DPI can speed up your accuracy. You need to find the appropriate balance between them!
Try the call of duty vanguard Aimbot: This option benefits only those trying to master this game. At times it's pretty frustrating to run into a player that has better stats than you, and they kill you like it's nothing.
Turn off aim assist - it makes aiming easier and helps increase accuracy (especially when sniping).
Aim Assist will make it easier to aim and lock on to enemies, especially at long range and help you land those headshots even at a distance.
Master ADS - Aim Down Sight is a feature that allows players to have greater accuracy while aiming down sights during intense battles. It's not necessarily the best way to get the upper hand on other people, but it can be an added advantage.
This feature will enable players to see where they are being shot by glancing at the top right corner of their screen or just looking up briefly above cover without getting shot at! The reason why I choose
However, if you want to be the best, turn it off and learn to master sniping and other weapons. It's not as hard as people make it out to be.
Use ADS (aiming down sights)
It's a useful feature in the game that will allow you to be more accurate when aiming at faraway targets. It can increase your accuracy significantly.
It'll make a huge difference if you can master aim-down sights during intense moments of the battle. It will give you a greater edge over your opponents, especially soldiers, with high accuracy and good aim since normal battles very sporadically.
You still need to be aware that players who can aim considerably well can still get a headshot on you from a distance without you being able to see them!
Turn off the vibration function to prevent any interference with gameplay.
Vibration functions - on some controllers, extra vibration devices can be turned on or off. This is useful for people who feel like the controller vibrates too much and makes them nauseous.
Turning off the vibration function takes away the faster pace of games where you are taking cover, shooting, or even when your character is running in the middle of battle.
Turning this function off can also help improve your aim slightly if you're not using a high DPI mouse.
Get comfortable with your controller by practicing in the training mode before starting a match.
Training mode is the best way to get comfortable with the controls and improve on your aim! It's a good idea to try with different sensitivities, record videos of yourself, or watch videos online before jumping into battle.
This way, you'll be able to get an idea or feel of what works best for you. You can also see how other COD players play the game and their different styles and controller settings.
Including some of these helpful tips in your playstyle can make a huge difference.
You'll eventually get the hang of it, but it will take some time before you can unlock your full potential.
Control Your Sprinting And Aim
In modern warfare, your sprinting will automatically aim you in the direction that you are running in. This can be detrimental, especially if you run into an enemy and they start shooting at you - it's very hard to shoot back!
If you sprint towards a room full of enemies and one of them shoots at you - all their bullets hit you because you're sprinting straight towards them, giving them an advantage.
You should just let go of the sprint button right before entering rooms with enemies so that your character doesn't expose itself as easily.
If you want to run around and aim at the same time, go ahead! If you were in sniper mode and do not plan to get out of it anytime soon, press the left trigger (aiming) and release it as soon as your weapon is aimed perfectly fine without having to hold down on it.
Once you are done with that, immediately tap the jump button so that your character does not aim down his sight - this way, you can run around freely.
