There is a new mid-range lining that again promises a lot of performance for little money. The OnePlus Nord CE with 5G mobile communications does not want to (confusingly) be understood as the successor to the original OnePlus Nord but as a new device class. Now the Chinese manufacturer has officially presented the model! We'll tell you what's in the new Nord CE.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G: From 90 Hertz AMOLED to jack plugs, everything is included
Inside is a Snapdragon 750G processor with at least 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The latter is also available in configurations of 8/128 GB and in 12/256 GB. The 6.43-inch AMOLED display has a sufficiently high FullHD + resolution and offers up to 90 Hertz for the display, which ensures a very smooth experience. The system is kept busy by a 4,500 mAh battery, which is supposed to ensure sufficient runtime. Surprising: In this price range, you can now also rely on 5G mobile communications with OnePlus!
On the back of the OnePlus Nord CE, the manufacturer relies on a “triple” camera with a surprisingly high 64 megapixels and an F / 1.79 aperture. An ultra-wide-angle model with a 119-degree field of view is also available. The third sensor takes care of the depth measurement. In the front, you will find a 16 MP selfie camera, which is integrated into the display at the top left. However, the entire front is largely dominated by the advertisement. The punch hole is hardly noticeable there.
However, the jack plug on the lower side is particularly interesting! With the OnePlus Nord CE, the analog obsolete model of the smartphone industry is suddenly back and should play into the cards of many people with headphones and a 3.5 mm jack who are currently thinking about switching to a newer model. At 7.9 mm, the new model is slim and also very light at just 170 grams. So the new Nord CE is probably not particularly noticeable in your pocket.
